Travel | Our Trip Down to Cornwall Photo Diary

It's been a busy few weeks finishing my photography degree, setting up my final degree show and moving into my new studio space, so I was in very much need of a holiday which conveniently fell over my 21st birthday. I've not been to Cornwall since I was very small (too small to remember) so I was really excited to visit. We stayed at the Deerpark Forest Cabins close, to Looe and Liskeard, which was just remote enough to lose phone signal and feel very 'away from it all'. The surroundings were lovely and the cabin was just perfect for the two of us, my only complaint being that the hot tub was just a bit too hot! We spent the week exploring some of the National Trust and English Heritage locations nearby, eating Cornish pasties and cream teas, drinking Pimms and lemonade and generally relaxing. Luckily the weather remained warm and fairly sunny for us only raining on our last night!
